ABOUT JACKSON ELEMENTARY

Jackson is the jewel of midtown Omaha offering our students amazing opportunities to excel academically in English and Spanish.

We serve an average of 250 students PK - 6 each school year. Our Pre-K is full day. Our K-6 students spend 50% of each day in English and 50% in Spanish. Students study 50% of all core content in English and 50% in Spanish. This dual language model is proven by research to close the opportunity gap and students who continue in the Dual Language program through graduation outperform their peers. Students who attend Jackson continue their DL program at Norris Middle School and Omaha South High School.

Before school care is provided by Kids Club (https://opsfkidsclub.org/program-details/). After school care is provided by Completely Kids (https://completelykids.org/what-we-do/).
